The main machining operations worked at OMVP are Turning, Drilling and Tapping and Cold Rolling:
The OMVP’s portfolio of equipments for machining operations consists of:
- Turning is a machining process where a cutting tool removes material from the surface of a rotating steel workpiece. It is widely used for shaping steel into cylindrical, conical, or complex geometric forms. By tailoring cutting parameters and tools to the specific steel grade, Turning can produce high-quality components with excellent dimensional accuracy and surface finishes
- Drilling and Tapping is the process of cutting internal threads into a hole to screw bolts
- Cold Rolling is a metalworking process in which metal is passed through rollers at a room temperature. This process enhances the material's surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and mechanical properties.
The OMVP’s portfolio of equipments for machining operations consists of:
- 42 x CNC Lines
- 11 x Cold Rolling machines
- 1 x Automatic Drilling line
